We have recently uploaded a 2.5-minute video to the Youtube channel of FLINS – FlexInSheet, which contains our installation works of a solar park anchored with 42 ground screws, suitable for the support of a total of 138 modules placed on our DuoSol solar panel supporting structures. Of course, this short film displays only a small part of such large-scale projects, but it can be seen that a really professional installation does not by far consist of only the assembly of the elements. Probably all solar panel sector operators have already heard of supporting structures damaged in different storms, suffering considerable harm. As the weather becomes increasingly extreme, unfortunately we have to prepare for similar challenges more frequently, to which developers, producers, designers and installers must also react.
We have some good news in connection with this for our existing and future partners! On the one hand, at the time of the former wind records there were substantially fewer problems with the ground-mounted DuoSol solar panel supporting structures than in systems of other brands – based on sector information. Of course, this has a number of components from the selection of the right anchoring method to the impeccable installation. In any case we can say that the solutions of FLINS endure weather challenges in an outstanding manner.

In which areas can you count on us for a professional installation?

No matter what arrangement we are talking about, our colleagues possessing all necessary entitlements and significant skills take care of the 3D terrain modelling of the systems in preparation with modern software, and the making of visualiations and the specific installation plan.
Our skilful colleagues take care of all the installation tasks on request too. In connection with this it is worth mentioning that FlexInSheet team prefers ground screw anchoring in the majority of the cases mainly because during the load tests done by our company these were torn out of the ground as a result of a tensile force three times as great as in the case of ground nail solutions most commonly used in Hungary. Nevertheless, we also wholeheartedly recommend the FLINS ground nail set and we take care of the implementation in special cases, for example if ground conditions make it problematic to drive in ground screws safely. It is a relevant recent development that now our ground screws and further anchoring fittings can also be ordered from stock immediately from our company.
Coming back to anchoring, our colleagues working in the front line carry out the drive-in with millimetre accuracy with GPS-based measuring instruments and advanced levelling devices among other things, then they assemble our solar panel supporting structures originally designed for simplicity with the quickness and precision demonstrated in our video. This guarantees that our systems maintain their stability for the expected period and beyond, and withstand the up to 130 km/h wind gusts based on the simulations.
